Camping World

Welcome to my world of camping. My name is Jon and I love to camp. I've been asked to contribute to the MiserlyMonkey camping section and share some of my camping world experiences. My favorite place to camp is in West Virginia. I try to go there about 3 to 4 times per year. Often I organize a bunch of buddies to go with me on my camping trips. However, I'm not against going out alone. My camping world is about being in nature, away from everything else, and really relaxing. I find that I can do this better sitting among the trees and streams than I can anywhere else. Camping is a world of fun! I'm not saying that I am the 'rough and tough' type. In fact, I like to bring my iPod along so that I can jam out to tunes late at night while the fire is burning down. One time, I even brought a portable DVD player to the woods to watch a movie. However, I was shunned by my friends and probably won't do that again. My favorite dinner meal is steak, cooked on a little grill over the open fire. I often bring eggs and bacon for breakfast. I also enjoy having beer and whiskey along. I hope your camping world is as exciting as mine. I know I will never give it up for anything!
